If it's your first time getting a massage ever or your first time booking a massage with me, no worries! Here are some often asked questions and their answers to help with any you may have. If you have any further questions, please send an email and I'm happy to respond!
What payments do you accept?
I accept zelle, cash or credit cards. In order to confirm your booking I ask for a credit card on file which won't be charged except in case of late cancellation. At the end of service you can choose to pay with the credit card on file, a different card, cash or zelle. (I do not accept checks, venmo or paypal at this time).
How do I book an appointment?
In order to book, please send me an email, text or phone call with the dates and times you're looking for and I will respond to let you know when I am available. You can also book by clicking on the "book now" button on the front page and choosing from the available times.
What is your cancellation policy?
My cancellation policy is 24 hours. Please make any changes or cancellations within 24 hours or full payment will be charged to the card on file.
Do you have a physical studio or just mobile massage to my home/air bnb/hotel?
Yes, I do both! On Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays I have a physical location in Avon at 110 East Beaver Creek Blvd, Avon, CO, 81620(with free and easily available parking) and on Mondays and Thursdays I offer mobile massage to your location.
Where is your studio located?
I'm located at 110 East Beaver Creek Boulevard, Avon, Colorado, 81620. I'm located on the second floor in a workspace called "Eager Beavers Workspace". (I am above Beaver Liquors). There is both a set of stairs and a ramp under the building which will take you to the second floor. There is currently no elevator access.
How far in advance do I need to book?
I accept bookings two months in advance for first time clients and up to four months in advance for returning clients. I am also happy to accept same day appointments if I have the availability so it never hurts to send an email/text! Also, if you would like to be added to a wait list in case of cancellations, I'm happy to!
Do you accept same day appointments?
Yes, absolutely, if I have the availability!
How long of a massage should I book?
I offer massage lengths of 60 minutes, 90 minutes and 120 minutes. Booking a 60 minute massage will provide a wonderful relaxation massage for the full body or to work deeply on one focus area. A 90 minute massage will allow us to go slower and spend more time focusing on 1-3 areas while also providing a full body massage. For people who are looking to have a full body focus session or who are very athletic, a two hour session will allow us to focus on the whole body.
*Expect an additional 5-10 minutes on either end for setup and takedown that is not included in the massage time for mobile massages.
Do you accept tips?
While tips are never expected, they are always appreciated so tipping is left to your discretion. If tipping isn't your thing, that's okay! Other ways to show appreciation are leaving reviews, referring out to friends and family, and my favorite: rebooking!
Do I have enough room for a mobile massage table?
The mobile massage table measures six feet by two and a half feet so please make sure you have a space big enough for the table plus room for me to move around it. We can set the table up wherever you feel comfortable. Options include a living room, kitchen, bedroom, basement etc etc. If its summer and the weather is lovely, we can even set up on a deck or porch!
What do I wear during my massage?
For a full body massage, some people undress completely, but you should undress to your level of comfort, and choosing to wear underwear or shorts is perfectly acceptable. I will give you privacy to undress, and you will be covered with a sheet at all times except the area being worked on.
How will I feel after my massage?
Most people feel very relaxed. Some people experience freedom from long-term aches and pains developed from tension or repetitive activity. After an initial period of feeling slowed down, people often experience increased energy, heightened awareness, and greater productivity, which can last for days or longer. Since toxins are released from your soft tissues during a massage, it is recommended you drink plenty of water following your massage.
Can I use my own music during the massage?
Yes, of course! You are also welcome to play a podcast or audiobook if that is what is relaxing and enjoyable for you or I can select appropriate music.
Do you offer a locals discount?
I do offer a local's discount! Please send an email to learn more :)
